2. Legal Framework
We process personal data mainly under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection.
3. Data We Collect
Browsing data:
IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, date and time of access.
Data you give us: name, email address, company, phone number and any other information you send through forms or by email.
Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of data (for example health data). Please do not send them to us.

5. Who Receives Your Data
Your data may be shared with:
- staff of the Owner and companies of the SMC group, where needed for the purposes above;
- service providers acting on our behalf (hosting, IT, email), bound by data processing agreements;
- public authorities and accreditation bodies, where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
6. International Transfers
If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we make sure it is protected by an adequacy decision of the European Commission, by Standard Contractual Clauses, or by another safeguard allowed under GDPR Chapter V.
7. How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes for which it was collected, or as long as the law requires.
After that it is deleted or anonymised.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
However, no transmission over the internet is completely secure.
9. Your Rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you have the right to:
- access your data and get a copy of it;
- have your data corrected or deleted;
- restrict or object to processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of your data (California residents);
- not be discriminated against for using your rights.

We reply within the time limits set by law (one month under the GDPR).
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
In Slovakia this is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR).

10. Children
This website is not aimed at children under 16.
We do not knowingly collect their personal data.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time.
Changes take effect when they are published on this page.
